Environmental Protection Activity in Guangzhou

On July 15, 2008, Starbucks partners in Guangzhou combined environmental protection, the theme of Starbucks’ CSR in fiscal year 2008, with the activities of each store. They decided to bring surprise to the outside, and encouraged car drivers to protect environment and advised them to stop engine for one minute when stopping at the roadside. They hope that the drivers all contribute to reduce emission even for one minute to protect the earth. They also offer “buy one, give one” coupons to the drivers for their support.
