Construction Engineer

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Leads the store design process including planning, managing external architects and service providers, and integration with regional and Seattle design team on specification and test fits.
• Submits all building and concession applications in compliance with legal requirements and prepares and monitors budgeting and timeline. Grants building contracts and obtains all necessary and official approvals.
• Seeks innovative methods on continual basis to reduce store construction costs. This includes eliminating obstacles by providing technical solutions, product tests. 
• Leads the negotiations with suppliers including completion of building contracts and unit pricing agreements and supervises all construction suppliers, profiles and handling.
• Works closely with field real estate partners and store design team in RSC and Seattle to implements and manage process within agreed budget and timeline, ensuring a maximum service level to the stores.
• Assists in all other function within store development, as appropriate.
